Streamlined multi servicer loan onboarding
Delivered a phased, fully governed onboarding process for a $3.1 billion loan portfolio spread across five servicers, ensuring data accuracy, privacy compliance and consistent loan transfer execution.
Sector: Loan servicing and portfolio transfer
Location: Classified
The client needed to transfer a portfolio of 43 loans representing $3.1 billion in AUM, spanning office, multifamily and warehouse properties. The loans were serviced by five different outgoing servicers, each with its own data formats, handoff procedures and file types. The transfer also required strict adherence to EU data protection and privacy standards, including BaFin requirements.
Mount Street implemented a transfer governance framework that defined clear roles, standardized data handoff procedures and used a phased transfer schedule to manage the complexity of multiple servicers. Since Mount Street US already operates under the same EU data protection and privacy requirements that govern its European parent, the team was able to complete the required data privacy review without issue.
Mount Street’s involvement ensured that each transfer step followed the agreed schedule and data standards. By coordinating with all five outgoing servicers and applying a phased governance framework, Mount Street maintained data accuracy, privacy compliance and consistent control throughout the onboarding process.
